Watch: 8-Year-Old Ed Spiteri Paris Crowned U9 Champion At International Tennis Tournament In Sweden

Maltese tennis rising star Ed Spiteri Paris has been crowned the U9 Rising Stars Champion after a phenomenal performance at an international indoor tournament held in Stockholm, Sweden.
Only eight years old, Ed played an impressive 16 matches over the course of six days, proving he’s a serious force on the court.

In the U9 category, Ed dominated the competition and took home the top title. But his winning streak didn’t stop there, he also made it to the final of the U10 event, where he finished as runner-up after facing Swedish No.1 Kai Rejler.
Ed’s third trophy came in the U10 Boys Doubles, where he teamed up with a Lithuanian partner and once again finished as runner-up.
He was the only player in the entire tournament to reach two singles finals, a massive achievement at such a young age.
