WATCH: Construction In Gwardamangia Causes Near-Collapse Of Neighbouring Wall

A post making the rounds on Facebook is bringing to light some troubling construction habits, and is ringing a painfully familiar bell. Following the collapse of a building in Gwardamangia last week, Janet Walker has raised concerns that a similar fate may be awaiting her house.

Her post includes several images depicting damage caused to her home as a result of construction going on next door

It seems that the neighbouring house is being demolished, and as a result her own wall has begun to crack. It also includes a video where she explains to a construction worker that because of all of the shaking going on inside her house, Janet and her family had to evacuate the building out of concern for their safety.

Throughout the past few days, Janet has also uploaded several other photos and videos, claiming she has complained to the police multiple times.

The videos highlight the sound pollution that they’re experiencing, as well as an insane amount of dust flying outside their home.

Janet claims she has informed the police, the planning authority, and the architect heading the construction. However no steps have been made, and seemingly cannot be made until the site is considered ‘condemned’ by an official.
