Watch: CPD Confirms Marsa Industrial Fire Contained As Crews Remain On Site
Civil Protection Malta has confirmed that the industrial fire in Marsa has now been contained, though firefighting operations are still ongoing.
Triq Ġuseppi Garibaldi has reopened in both directions however authorities are urging drivers to proceed with maximum caution, as fire crews and heavy machinery remain active in the area. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, keep lanes clear, and stay alert while passing through.

The public is also being asked to avoid the area due to ongoing emergency operations and safety concerns.
Civil Protection Malta thanked the agencies assisting in the response, including Transport Malta, The Malta Police Force, LESA, Mater Dei Hospital’s Emergency Department, CPD Volunteers, Emergency Fire & Rescue Unit, St John Ambulance & Rescue Malta, Detention Services, and private water contractors.
