During today’s gathering in Bidnija, writings from Daphne’s blog were read while people drew the journalist’s portrait on a canvas. This was followed by the placing of flowers and tributes as a reminder of the horrible assassination which took place on our island.
Local and foreign activists were in attendance.

Today’s grim anniversary will continue to be marked this afternoon and evening in Valletta.
At 6pm, a mass will be held at the capital’s Church of St Francis of Assisi.
Then, right after that, at around 7pm, a march will kick off from next to Valletta’s Wembley corner, coming to a head with a vigil at 7.30pm right in front of the Law Courts.
Will you be going to Valletta today?
