WATCH: Dolphin At Fomm Ir-Riħ Is Perfectly Captured By 'Amazed' Paddlers

Malta's sea sometimes dishes out some beautiful surprises

A group of stand-up paddlers last week witnessed a remarkable scene as their surf boards were quickly surrounded by dolphins at Fomm ir-Riħ.

The paddlers managed to take a great shot of one of the dolphins diving out of the water. Malta SUP Sea Treks said the dolphins were extremely difficult to film while paddling, but their slo-mo certainly got the job done.

Charlotte Seymour told Lovin Malta there were at least eight or 10 dolphins at one point and they were "incredibly playful".

"They were almost flirting with our boards by coming so close and then jumping in and out of the water," she said.
