Our very own firefighting warriors have gotten a well-earned upgrade to their gear and we are totally here for the spicy reveal video.
The Civil Protection Department (CPD) have just announced a fresh new look for their dedicated fire rescue members, in a Facebook video captioned “Flaming new look – Lit for Duty / Fired up for action.”
The upload came after a teaser, also shared earlier in the day, in which a mysterious silhouette appeared in front of red smog, bearing the Maltese flag on their shoulder.
With clothing coming straight out of one of the world’s leading firefighter suppliers, Eagle FR, there’s no doubt that the crew’s ready to protect our lands whilst staying protected themselves.
Minister for Home Affairs, Security, Reforms and Equality, Byron Camilleri, said that the upgrade came as part of a series of investments in overall quality of life under the “Pajjiż ta’ Kwalita’” initiative. The suits provide better protection for the workers and are 35% lighter and better suitable for Maltese climates.
The badass reveal left viewers amazed, with many pouring their heartfelt dedication for the crew in the comments.
