Watch: From Hulk Hogan To Gothic MAGA, Here Are Some Highlights From The MSG Trump Rally
With the US Elections just a week away, Trump made sure to hype up his supporters in what many are calling a “crude” and “obscene” rally.
Thousands of people packed Madison Square Garden in New York City for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign rally this Sunday. The event saw the attendance of many influential figures, both political and social.
From Elon Musk announcing he’s a “dark gothic MAGA” to Hulk Hogan’s surprise patriotic appearance, attendees were in for a show filled with speeches and entertaining guest appearances.
Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe performed a comedy set at the rally featuring dark humour. The set included him calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage” among other jokes targeted towards Hispanics, and even calling Jews “cheap” and Palestinians “rock-throwers.”
Despite the massive backlash, a lot of dedicated Puerto Rican Trump supporters defended the comedian.
Many have come out to voice their disgust at the speeches held. With big names like radio personality Sid Rosenberg saying Hillary Clinton is a “sick bastard,” and Tucker Carlson calling Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris a “samoan-malaysian low IQ former California prosecutor,” a lot expressed that the overabundance of radical comments were “offensive” and “vulgar.”
The influx of vulgar language and gestures also caught people’s attention, strengthening their negative opinions of the gathering.
However, it would seem that such behaviour was encouraged and even admired by attendees, potentially contributing to an increase in votes for Trump in the upcoming election.
What do you make of the rally?
