Għarb’s town square was transformed into a stage of colour and creativity this weekend as massive handmade puppets paraded and danced through the locality for the Gozo International Puppet Festival.
Setting a new Malta Record, the Għarb Local Council unveiled the largest handmade puppet ever built in the islands, an impressive 22 feet tall.

Crowds gathered to enjoy the spectacle, marvelling at the craftsmanship, performances, and vibrant atmosphere that filled the square.
