Residents on Gżira’s Triq Sir Patrick Stuart had to be evacuated after a fire which erupted at a substation inside a garage on the road.

Police told Lovin Malta that it had received reports of the fire just after 1pm, with officials from the CPD quickly rushing onto the scene, followed by an ambulance as a precaution.
