WATCH: ‘Ħa Ntik Dil-Ordni Ċar U Tond’: Maltese Rapper Delivers His McDrive Order In Double Time
Ordering at a drive-thru can go one of two ways: you can communicate your order easily and effectively, or you can be left shouting “two euro burgers” publicly like the poor beggar you didn’t want the world to know you really are.
One Maltese man may have found a quick and easy way to communicate a long order using the medium of rap music. Local rapper Matthew ‘Kalakku’ Attard rode through a local drive-through to grab some grub, and wanted to try out his technique to see if it would result in some fast food.
“Welcome to McDrive” says the unaware attendant as Kalakku pulls up.
In quick succession, Kalakku orders the following: Two Big Tasties, a coca-cola, a sweet and sour sauce and a curry sauce, a strawberry milkshake, an apple pie and one Twix McFlurry, unless we missed anything.
He ends his rap with an inquisitive “orrajt fhimtni?”
Not a bad haul to be honest – we’re just wondering if they forget any of those extra sauces though.
Tag someone who could probably rap his drive-thru orders, but just never has.
