Watch: Indian Travel Influencer Shares Trip To Malta’s Iconic Popeye Village
One of India’s most distinguished travel influencers, Harjinder Singh Kukreja, shared his thoughts from his time at Malta’s iconic Popeye Village.
Kukreja has a massive online fanbase with 2.5 million followers on Instagram and 1.2 million on X, on which he shares a diverse selection of travel content.
In one of his latest videos, he can be seen at the Mellieħa theme park with his family, all decked out in Popeye merch. Kukreja described the place as something of “pure magic”, even going as far to call it “even better” than world renowned parks like Disneyland and Universal Studios.
He gave context to the construction of the site, which dates back to 1980 where it originally served as the film set for the musical production of “Popeye” starring the late cinema legends Robin Willians and Shelley Duvall.
The video amassed over one million views on Instagram, with tons of international commenters expressing their desire to visit our country.
Apart from Singh’s entertaining and informative travel ventures that he shares online, he’s also a Cultural Ambassador of India, being officially recognised as one of the most influential Sikhs and travel content creators in the world.
With such honourable titles and achievements, it’s safe to say that this is yet another distinguished review under our belt.
