Watch: ‘M’iniex Nieqes Mill-Pastizz’ – MAFS UK Star Luke Debono Takes Over Maltese Radio
The dream team over at Magic 91.7 FM keep making our morning commutes and routines entertaining with unique flares, time and time again.
This time, they invited none other than Married At First Sight UK’s Luke Debono, the Maltese-born “love guru” best known for his quirky one-liners and borderline awkward conversations.
The guest appearance was teased yesterday with the team announcing, “Very special guest joining us tomorrow! Tune in to hear his experience on MAFS.”
In another teaser, Martina showed a snippet of Luke in the booth with herself, Abel, JD and Rossi, where he shared some of the wisdom he’s best known for, saying, “If you’re thinking of getting married, probably don’t.”
Despite the laughs and wholesome moments on the show, Luke and his co-star Amy Kenyon faced a variety of troubles on and off screen. Unfortunately, the couple were not destined to be together, ultimately going on their separate ways soon after.
So far the segment’s been filled with laughs, even a fun challenge where he was asked to choose which one he’d rather marry between two items. When faced with the decision between his dog or his wife, Luke without missing a beat responded “My dog.”
Later on, when asked to choose between coffee and pastizz, the man undoubtedly chose the pastizz. He even shared that he kept in touch with his Maltese roots while filming in the UK, where he met up with other Maltese people living in London who brought local delicacies.
Following up on this, Luke graced the team with another one of his zingers, saying “M’iniex nieqes mill-pastizz” cheekily hinting at something else.
Luke appeared this morning, taking over the airwaves and perhaps spilling some tea from the behind the scenes of MAFS or simply bless us with some of his awkward love guru wisdom.
