Watch: Musk, Tyson And Ian Borg – Deputy Pm Meets Social And Political Celebs At Trump’s Inauguration
From the viral boxing duo to some of the world’s most influential figures, Deputy Prime Minister, Ian Borg, got the networking opportunity of a lifetime.
Donald Trump’s inauguration yesterday, saw the attendance of multiple prominent social and political figures, among them was Malta’s very own Foreign Affairs Minister.
At one point during the inauguration’s celebrations, crowds clamoured outside the US Capitol Building in Washington, where internet celebrity, Jake Paul, was seen lifting up boxing legend, Mike Tyson, on his shoulders.
Surrounding the group was a crowd of excited spectators, including Borg himself who was caught taking a selfie of the scene. Among the onlookers were comedian Theo Von, Jake’s brother Logan, Conor McGregor and other big names who were invited to the ceremony.
Some of the country’s wealthiest individuals and prominent Trump supporters were also in attendance, including Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and of course, Elon Musk — who Borg also had the chance to meet.
Borg also met up with prominent political figures like China’s vice president, Han Zheng who attended on behalf of President Xi Jinping, the President of Argentina, Javier Milei, as well as American entrepreneur and former co-leader of Trump’s new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Vivek Ramaswamy.
