Watch: Racing Rxoxt! Christ’s Risen Statue Runs Through The Streets In Annual Easter Sunday Tradition

Malta’s exciting Risen Christ statue Easter Sunday tradition is still going strong, with Paola’s run going down earlier today.
A symbol of joy and celebration on the most important day of the Roman Catholic calendar, the tradition sees a group of men run through the streets carrying a massive statue of the Risen Christ before triumphantly lifting it into the air, symbolising Jesus’ resurrection.
