During the Ħamrun Spartans’ match last Saturday 21st December against Paola’s Hibernians, the team was on their A-Game.
Notably, Joseph Mbong, a powerhouse on the field, left spectators with their jaws on the ground after delivering a wicked bicycle kick following a corner kick, ultimately resulting in an equally impressive goal.
The video of the moment, which has since gone viral with over 35,000 views on the Spartans’ Instagram, was appropriately captioned “Joseph, what the f*** did you just do?” perfectly mirroring our own reactions to this unexpected spectacle.
Mbong gloriously brought the team to 3-0, earning them a solid victory over Hibs, with the two other goals being scored by 18-year-old Midfielder Kean Scicluna and seasoned Striker Talison Lui Barboza.
