Nominations Open For National Volunteer Award 2025

The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS) has opened nominations for the National Volunteer Award 2025, celebrating the people and organisations making an outstanding difference in their communities.

The top honour Volunteer of the Year will recognise an individual whose dedication and work has left a lasting impact.

Other categories include:

  • Voluntary Organisation of the Year
  • Private Company Award for businesses supporting volunteering
  • Young Volunteer Award (ages 16–30)
  • Victor Calvagna Children’s Volunteer Award (ages 10–15)
  • Project of the Year (returning for the second year)
  • Special Award for Voluntary Service

Alongside these awards, the Just Society Award has also been launched, recognising individuals and organisations working to create a positive impact in the field of disability.

Nominations close Friday 17th October at noon, with the ceremony taking place on 4th December, ahead of International Volunteer Day.
