Not Quite Summer Yet: Looks Like Rain Might Be Coming Back To Malta This Week

Awh man, we were getting used to these early summer vibes. If you were hoping for more of the same, though, get ready for a gloomy surprise.
This week’s forecast has Malta set up for isolated showers for nearly every single day, with chances of precipitation going from 10% on Monday all the way up to 50% on Thursday. Meanwhile, slightly strong winds of Force 3, 4 and even 5 will continue to hit the islands over the coming days.
One thing that won’t really be changing from last week, however, is the warm temperatures. Highs of 23°C and 24°C are on the menu for this week, and that’s only set to increase by the time the sunnier weekend arrives.
The weekend, on the other hand, holds some more familiar May weather.
Friday kicks off with highs of 25°C which will go up to 27°C by Sunday. Even the lowest temperatures, which would’ve been sitting at 16°C for most of this week, will go up to 18°C by the weekend.
This entire week’s UV index is set to go up to dangerous (read: Maltese summer) territories of 9 and 10, so even though you might get wet, be wary of getting sunburnt in the process. And welcome to Malta.
