Nurse Charged With Stabbing Colleague At Mater Dei
A 36-year-old male nurse has been charged with stabbing a 41-year-old female colleague with a surgical knife at Mater Dei, TVM has reported.
The nurse, an Indian national, stabbed his colleague, also Indian, following an argument at Mater Dei on Thursday. He was charged today and is pleading not guilty.
His request for bail was denied, with magistrate Caroline Farrugia Frendo noting that several witnesses still have to testify.
The magistrate issued a court order banning the publication of the names of the alleged aggressor and victim, as well as the ward where the incident took place.
