One-Year-Old Rushed To Mater Dei Following Car Crash In Pieta

A one-year and two-month-old baby was rushed to Mater Dei hospital by ambulance for treatment following a traffic accident.

A police spokesperson told Lovin Malta that the baby was in a black cab that was being driven by a 45-year-old man from the Philippines who is also resident of Birżebuġġa.

Accompanying the baby was a 46-year-old woman who resides in Naxxar.

 

The accident happened today in Triq id-Duluri in Pieta at around 4.30pm when the car, which was a Peugeot 308, crashed into a parked truck.

The baby’s condition is currently still unknown and there were no other reported injuries.
