Over 96% of agricultural land in Malta is being used for agricultural purposes, Minister Anton Refalo has said.

Refalo, who was replying to a parliamentary question from Toni Bezzina, was quoting figures from the National Statistics office.

Meanwhile, there are concerns that future generations are less likely to follow in their footsteps.

The government is trying to act to address certain issues, namely problems surrounding land ownership.

What do you think of the figures?
