PL President Daniel Micallef Announces He Is Running To Be Next Deputy Leader

Labour Party President Daniel Micallef is officially running to be the Deputy Leader for Party Affairs.
“Later on today I’ll be answering your call and submitting my nomination for the role of Deputy Leader,” Micallef said today alongside a video announcing his plans.
“I look to a future where, together, we’ll renew the Labour party, strengthen the concept of our movement and map the future of our country.”
Micallef is the current PL president and has a history of working within Labour institutions.
He was FŻL President for five years, overseeing a restructuring and rebranding of the organization and helped the Labour Party win the 2013 general election alongside Joseph Muscat and his team.
During that same year, he was elected PL president.
His announcement comes following the resignation of former Deputy Leader Chris Cardona.
What do you think of Micallef potentially becoming the next PL Deputy leader?
