The Planning Authority has listed the “ability to withstand pressure and abuse” as a skill set required for a current job listing.
The listing outlines the available position for an Assistant Professional Officer to join the PA on a full-time basis.
Apart from the ability to withstand pressure and abuse, and act with tact and firmness in potentially aggravated situations, the skills listed also include legal, interpersonal, presentation, and general management.

The applicant would need to be able to assist and support the functioning of the Planning Authority on legal matters, through legal advice on matters, having legal implications especially related to the implementation of the Development Planning Act, and representation in court proceedings.
Furthermore, the qualifications needed for the position are a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) LL.B (Hons) (Melit) degree together with a Master in Advocacy (M.Adv Melit) degree or the qualifications of Doctorate of Laws (LL.D) (Melit).
