PN Leader Pens ‘I Believe’ Poem On Facebook Ahead Of Today’s Confidence Vote

More than 1,000 general councillors will head to the polls today to say whether or not they still have confidence in PN leader Adrian Delia, who has so far endured two years of serious turbulence at the helm.

Hours before the vote, Delia took to Facebook to share his thoughts in his characteristic poetic style, listing his beliefs.

The poem ends with: “I believe that whatever the outcome of the result of these elections tomorrow we need to persevere in what we truly believe in; Together more than ever so that moving forward: We believe.”

Delia is largely expected to win this vote but questions remain as to the margin and what it would say about the party’s core belief in his abilities.

The voting will close at 6pm and a result is expected within a few hours.
