PN MP Claims Eddie Fenech Adami Plaque ‘Disrespectfully Hidden’ In Gozo General Hospital

A plaque laid by former Prime Minister Eddie Fenech Adami during the construction of the Gozo General Hospital had suddenly disappeared – and a PN MP is calling for its return.

“I’m appealing to whoever is responsible for this plaque to be reinstated immediately,” Alex Borg said, sharing photos seemingly showing the plaque being hidden.

“This plaque annoyed them, but the millions stolen doesn’t bother them at all,” he continued, referring to the Steward-Vitals controversy

Borg opened up by saying his father had always taught him the value of respect, no matter whom the other person was – and that the plaque removal was “exactly the contrary” to what he was taught during his upbringing.

“When you stifle respect by trying to suppress what was one of the many big steps made by Nationalist governments in the field of health, it seems clear that truth and righteousness have become a nuisance for you.”

What do you make of the apparent hiding of a historic plaque?
