PN MP Jason Azzopardi Mocks Marsa Councillor After She Calls Him A Psychopath: ‘An Underestimated Deadly Talent’
In what seems to be a daily occurrence within the sphere of the PN, party members are in a public spat with each other on Facebook.
In a Facebook group called Grupp PN, Nationalist MP Jason Azzopardi was referred to as a ‘psikopatiku’ (psychopath) in a comment by PN Marsa councillor Charmaine Aquilina.
Charmaine Aquilina is an avid supporter of the embattled Nationalist leader Adrian Delia, and one of the two administrators of the 4,349 member Facebook group.
The comment caught the attention of Azzopardi, who made a retaliatory post mocking the Nationalist Councillor in his retaliatory response.
“I announce to you a new graduate of clinical psychology. A hidden treacherous wisdom and
underestimated deadly talent in Grupp PN and in PN. She even gives lessons for free on how
to be a ċerċura, a doofus and stupid at the same time. Qualities that are appreciated by the
PN leadership.”
Azzopardi is a vocal critic of Adrian Delia and this is not the first time that the rebel MP has been in open conflict with the leader and his followers.
Last June, after the disastrous MEP election results which saw a total meltdown of the party, Dr. Delia stated that he will no longer pay attention to Azzopardi.
Furthermore, the MP drew the ire of Delia supporters in Grupp PN when he shared his views about NET journalist Louise Tedesco’s article aimed at Delia’s internal critics.
This follows two months of chaos within the Nationalist Party after the European elections which in the beginning stages unleashed a strong rebellion movement to challenge
Delia.
Matters will come to a head next Saturday in a General Council meeting which will take a
vote of confidence in Delia’s future.
