PN Pledges To Go Ahead With Motion Against Rosianne Cutajar

The Nationalist Party has promised to go ahead with a planned parliamentary motion calling for Rosianne Cutajar to return money she was paid for an ITS consultancy that the National Audit Office warned was likely a phantom job.

“The motion announced by Dr. Bernard Grech is going to be presented in the foreseeable future,” a PN spokesperson told Lovin Malta.

This week, Prime Minister Robert Abela suggested that the PN is getting cold feet about this motion out of concern it could boomerang against several of its own MPs who work with the government.

However, the PN’s statement indicates it is ready to forge ahead with the motion.

Cutajar was forced to resign as a PL MP last year after Mark Camilleri published her WhatsApp history with Daphne Caruana Galizia murder suspect Yorgen Fenech, but Abela recently suggested she could be offered a political lifeline. He told journalists that Cutajar was given “capital punishment” in political terms and that Camilleri was an “ultra-cruel” person who had “publicly butchered” her.

Do you think Rosianne Cutajar should return to PL?
