It’s a tough time for everyone everywhere around the world but it’s particularly tough for the youth of our society who may not be fully aware of what’s going on and why they can’t go out to play and have fun.
But their commitment to following the rules and staying inside hasn’t gone unnoticed and the Malta Police Force has praised them for being such exemplary citizens with a heartfelt Facebook post.
“We know that no school, no playground and no friends is not easy for you and so the police would like to use this post to say thank you for your cooperation,” the post read.
Schools have been closed since March 13th as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak with many students having to take their classes online to stay on track. In an effort to curb the spread of the virus, many have taken to quarantine and have practiced social distancing which limits public gatherings including playgrounds.
“Today we would like to give a thumbs up to the children for still doing well during these days at home,” Malta Police said.
