Members of Malta’s police force are currently investigating gunshots that were heard in the vicinity of Kordin and the mosque in Raħal Ġdid, along Triq Kordin.

The gunshots were heard during the early hours of the morning, a police spokesperson told Lovin Malta. 

From preliminary investigations, it appeared that the gunshots were heard after a traffic accident occurred in the area, however, it is still too early for confirmed details.

Police are currently on site investigating.
