Police are currently searching for a man who stabbed a 22-year-old Moroccan man in the face while he was waiting for the bus in Valletta.

Police confirmed with Lovin Malta that the search for the aggressor is still underway.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening at around 6.30pm next to the Triton fountain, Valletta.

The victim, who is a resident of Birkirkara, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital to receive care for his injuries.

He was later certified to be suffering from injuries of a grievous nature.
