Police Exclude Foul Play In Liam Vidal’s Death And Consider Case Closed
Police are excluding foul play in the death of Liam Vidal and consider the case closed.
Lovin Malta can confirm that evidence found at the scene has completely ruled out the involvement of third parties in Vidal’s death.
Vidal died earlier today, a few days after he was found lying next to his burning vehicle in Marsamxett on 3rd September.
His death has shocked many and there has been an outpouring of grief for Vidal, who was well-loved in the community.
Vidal’s death, given Malta’s long history of car bombs and his own connections to certain individuals, raised alarm bells, particularly after an explosion was heard in the area.
However, those with intimate knowledge of the case have said that there is no evidence to suggest foul play.
A magisterial inquiry is still currently on going and is being led by Yana Micallef Stafrace.
What do you think of the police’s conclusions?
