Police Outside Keith Schembri’s Mellieħa Residence Following His Resignation As Chief Of Staff

Police have been spotted outside Keith Schembri’s residence in Mellieħa earlier today after news broke out that he was being detained following his resignation as the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff.
MaltaToday uploaded a video recently showing police pulling up at the former Chief of Staff’s residence in Santa Marija Estate, Mellieħa.



No explanation has been provided as to why police arrived at Schembri’s place as of yet.
Schembri currently sits in lock-up under police investigation in connection with corruption cases and the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia following the arrest of main suspect Yorgen Fenech.
