Police have released the most recent CCTV image of Martin Ambinette, the 65-year-old resident of a home for people with disabilities who has now been missing for four days.

In the image, which was taken in Fgura, Martin can be seen wearing a dark-coloured jacket with ‘San Ġiljan ASC’ written on the back. He was not wearing a beanie as the police had stated in an earlier missing person update.

Martin is a longtime resident at Dar Merħba, a Fgura home for people with disabilities run by Fondazzjoni Wens. It is believed that Martin left the residence on Sunday as he often does but didn’t return in the evening. He didn’t take his phone with him.

Police have now ramped up their investigation. Lovin Malta has been informed that they are patrolling the streets, speaking to people who know him and searching through his phone history. There is also a possibility that they could deploy drones to assist in the investigation.

Anyone with any information about Martin’s whereabouts can pass it on to the Police, even confidentially, on Police HQ numbers 21 224001/119 or at the nearest police station.
