Updated at 17.50: The man has since been found be police

The Malta Police Force has put out a public appeal to help locate a wanted man.

The man, Joseph Portelli, is wanted in relation to an ongoing court case, police said, sharing his image. 

Anyone with information on his whereabouts, or with information on any sightings, is being urged to speak to the police, even in confidence, either by going to a local police station or calling on 21224001/119.
