Police Still Hunting Man Charged With Murder, Attempted Murder And Other Crimes

Malta’s police are still on the hunt for Ramzi Abdulhafid Ib Abukem, who is charged with murder, attempted murder and a host of other crimes. 

Police first issued a wanted notice on 26th August, but are yet to locate the man. 

Anyone that has any type of information is being requested to contact the police, through Facebook or either through 21224001/ 119 while quoting “6/2022”.

 

Ramzi was charged with beating a man to death in 2018 in Ħamrun, as well as holding another two against their will and threatening to kill them.

He is on bail for that case, which is yet to be concluded. 

He was also charged with attempted murder following a fight with bouncers in which he brandished a sword in 2016.

More recently, he was linked to a high-profile murder of Mario Farrugia but was released without charge pending investigation.

Ramzi was also recently subject to an investigation into footage showing him brandishing a weapon along the Sliema seafront.
