Power Cuts Return As Various Maltese Localities Report No Electricity
Updated at 11.46 – Some localities have started getting electricity back slowly.
Did your electricity just go out?
Various localities across the Northern side of the island have just reported losing electricity in what appears to be another mass blackout.
Localities including Burmarrad, Naxxar, Bidnija, Xemxija, Iklin, and Rabat in Gozo reported experiencing a power cut a few moments ago.
Meanwhile, Sliema, St Julian’s, Swieqi, San Ġwann, Valletta, Mqabba, and Fgura did not experience any loss of electricity.
Some telecommunication lines have also experienced glitches and slow coverage following the power cut.
