Though Malta’s been experiencing warm weather over the last few days, a new weather forecast is predicting cooler temperatures in the coming hours and days.

“The weather today is generally cloudy with a few drops of rain in some areas at first. Expect rain and stormy weather from late afternoon and during the evening as well as cooling temperatures,” forecast page It-Temp Madwarna said.

Winds are expected to be moderate during this time.

The rest of the week, including Easter, is expected to continue with a similar trend.

“Cold air will penetrate the center of the Mediterranean from Sunday and is expected to create instability in the atmosphere. As soon as the cold front passes, we are expecting rain, possibly even with thunder,” the page predicted, sharing a short video of what to expect.
