This year’s edition of the President’s Solidarity Fun Run has been postponed with storms and gale-force winds expected later on today.

The run was meant to kick off at 10am, however, organisers announced this morning that the race will take place at a later day to ensure a safe run for participants.

The fun run usually sees close to 15,000 people either run or walk from areas across Malta to St George’s Square in Valletta in aid of the Community Chest Fund.

Earlier this year, the Malta Marathon also had to be postponed in February due to heavy storms.
