‘Prosit Dr Delia’: Jason Azzopardi Praises Former Leader For Confirming Vitals ‘Criminal Conspiracy’

Former PN MP Jason Azzopardi has praised Adrian Delia for his landmark win on the Vitals-Steward case which was confirmed a few moments ago.
“Today’s sentence confirms what we have always said: there was a criminal conspiracy and a criminal association, both serious crimes, committed by Konrad Mizzi, Joseph Muscat, and Chris Cardona,” Azzopardi wrote on social media, referring the Malta’s former minister and prime minister.
“How right I was to say this in 2018 and 2019… today is another very, very, very important step,” he continued.
“All that is missing is to close the Magisterial Inquiry on the VGH that was opened by Repubblika,” he said.
“I am proud and grateful that with my work I contributed to bringing out the truth. Prosit Dr. Delia.”
Meanwhile, independent politician Arnold Cassola has already called for the immediate arraignment of Joseph Muscat and Konrad Mizzi.
Judge Francesco Depasquale today ordered the annulment of the deal and the return of the three hospitals to the government, with all costs to be borne by Steward Malta.
Delia’s case, which he filed almost five years ago, calls for the scrapping of the concession that placed Vitals Global Healthcare, and later Steward Healthcare, in charge of the St Luke’s, Karin Grech, and Gozo hospitals.
