A 74-year-old man was rushed to hospital with grievous injuries last night after being involved in a car incident in Qormi.

The elderly man, himself a resident of Qormi, was involved in an accident with a 26-year-old man also from Qormi at around 8:30 pm last night.

The incident occurred in Triq il-Vitorja, where the man was before he was hit by a Toyota Yaris. The reasons for the incident are as yet unknown, but police investigations are currently underway.
