A man has been hospitalised after a number of glass sheets fell on him.

The man, a 36-year-old man from Qormi, was inside a garage in Sqaq il-Mitħna, Qrendi, at around 10.30am when the accident occurred. As a number of glass sheets were being carried, some of them fell on the man, injuring him.

A medical team was called to the scene to administer first aid and take the man for further medical attention at Mater Dei where he was certified with grievous injuries.

Police investigations into the accident are underway.
