RE/MAX Blasts ‘Cowardly Act Of Hate’ After Graffiti Sprayed On New Balluta Cafe

Offensive graffiti was found sprawled on a Balluta cafe front door this morning. The cafe in question is owned by real estate company RE/MAX which in turn rents it out to a third party.
This act follows a similar attack last week which targeted RE/MAX’s Ta’ Xbiex branch.

The individuals behind today’s act of vandalism allegedly spray painted over the CCTV cameras in the area, essentially rendering them useless.
In a press statement, RE/MAX Malta Chairman Kevin Buttigieg denounced” this act of hate” calling it “an act of cowardice”. Buttigieg went on to say that “hateful behaviour towards private property can never be acceptable in a civilised society”.
This Balluta cafe was recently the subject of ample controversy, what with the installation of a contested platform rendering five parking bays, including one disabled bay useless.

When contacted by Lovin Malta, the RE/MAX team refused to comment.
