Robert Abela Pays Tribute To Childhood Friend Karl Gouder
Prime Minister Robert Abela paid tribute to his childhood friend Karl Gouder after his shocking and sudden death.
“I have known Karl for a long time, we became true friends in our school days and we grew up together,” Abela said. “Later on we became colleagues in Parliament. Even though we sat on opposite benches, our childhood friendship always remained.”

“Karl always had a sense of commitment to communities and citizens and I’m truly saddened by his loss. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.”
Gouder was found dead in Valletta and his death isn’t being treated as suspicious. A few days ago, he had declared his intention to contest for the role of PN secretary general.
