Robert Aquilina ‘Protects Sources’ In Today’s Pilatus Interrogation

Former Repubblika activist Robert Aquilina said he did not reveal information about any of his Pilatus sources during an interrogation this afternoon at the Police Headquarters in Floriana.
The police wanted the identities of the sources that allowed Aquilina to reveal what the inquiry into Pilatus Bank had found, and the manoeuvres carried out by the Police Commissioner and the Attorney General to “ignore the Magistrate’s orders and avoid prosecuting the criminals who tarnished our country’s name to launder dirty money”, Aquilina wrote in a social media post published moments ago.
“I did not provide any information about these sources and exercised my right to protect their identity.”
“It is highly relevant that during the interrogation, the police confirmed that the evidence I published in the book and presented in court matches the content of the original inquiry. This is yet another confirmation – this time from the police themselves – that the book Pilatus contains nothing but the truth,” he continued.
Aquilina was interrogated just days after he was accused of domestic violence against his wife which he denies. In fact, speaking to Lovin Malta, Aquilina said that the timing of this interrogation was “very suspicious”.
