Robert Aquilina Summoned To Police Depot Over Pilatus Book Leaks

Former Repubblika activist Robert Aquilina said he has been summoned to the police depot tomorrow for an interrogation about his book Pilatus, in which he had published the findings of a magisterial inquiry into the former bank.
“I have just received a phonecall from the police’s CID section, summoning me to an interrogation at the depot tomorrow about what I revealed two years ago in the Pilatus book,” Aquilina said.
“In this book, I published evidence of deception, money laundering from the proceeds of crime, and a cover-up by the police commissioner and the Attorney General.”
“The police told me that the interrogation was the result of an order by Magistrate Nadine Sant Lia.”
Aquilina said that while he will go to the depot, he won’t expose his sources under any circumstance.
“My sources are heroes, without whom I wouldn’t have been able to find out about the dirt they wanted to hide from us. I assure everyone that I won’t allow anyone to persecute them, even if I have to suffer the consequences alone.”
Aquilina’s interrogation comes shortly after he was investigated by the police over an alleged domestic violence incident. Following this incident, Aquilina announced his immediate resignation as a Repubblika member.
