Robert Arrigo’s Son Alan Awarded Special Tribute Prize In Front Of Cheering Business Crowd
Alan Arrigo was granted a special award in front of hundreds of businesspeople in honour of his late father Robert Arrigo last weekend.
Robert Arrigo & Sons Ltd was given the special President’s Choice Award at the end of the Malta Business Awards, which was organised by the Malta Chamber of SMEs to celebrate local businesses.
As Chamber President Paul Abela handed him the award in front of a cheering crowd, a visibly emotional Arrigo said he was lost for words.
“We know Robert Arrigo would be proud,” the company, which the late PN politician had set up in 1983 to provide services to tourists, said afterward.
It was one of several businesses to receive an award last weekend, with betting company Lottoland the only one to win two awards.
