Romanian Worker Critical After Yet Another Construction Site Accident
A 36-year-old Romanian worker is fighting for his life after falling from an unspecified height at a Ħal Far construction site.
In a statement this morning, the police said the worker was injured at a construction site at the Ħal Far Industrial Estate yesterday afternoon.
From preliminary investigations, the police said, it transpired that the man had been injured after falling from a ladder while he was working.
He was given medical assistance on-site and was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified as having sustained serious injuries.
The police said that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
