Ronald Vassallo Resigns As Labour’s Head Of Communications

Lovin Malta can confirm that Ronald Vassallo has resigned as the Labour Party’s head of communications.
Vassallo was appointed to the role in 2020 when he was only 23 years old, shortly after Robert Abela was elected Prime Minister and PL leader.
He has chosen not to comment about his decision to resign at this stage.
Vassallo becomes the latest leading PL official to resign this year. Both PL deputy leaders – Chris Fearne and Daniel Micallef – stepped down, as has policy consultant Aleander Balzan and OPM communications consultant Claire Azzopardi.
