Rosianne Cutajar Calls Metsola The ‘Queen Of War’ And Says She Should Shoulder Responsibility
Labelling Roberta Metsola as the “queen of war”, PL MP Rosianne Cutajar said the European Parliament President should “shoulder responsibility” for her role in the Ukraine war.
In a recent article on the PL’s Kullħadd newspaper, Cutajar accused Metsola of “stoking the flames through irresponsible and confrontational behaviour” ever since the war broke out.
“She spent three years posing and taking photos with Zelenskyy and trying to make us believe that the war was coming to an end. Do you remember when she told Zelenskyy in May 2022 that the war would soon end and she would go and watch the Eurovision in Ukraine?”
“Not only did it not end but it’s still going on in 2025.”
Cutajar argued that the sidelining of the EU from the USA’s peace talks with Russia shows that European leaders, including Metsola, have “made the EU irrelevant.”
“Metsola knows that she and her friends have made Europe irrelevant and she is doing her utmost to save her political reputation and remain in her role.”
“Her recent visit to the US to try and make headlines completely failed – no high-ranking US government official met her and no prominent newspaper even reported her trip.”
“Metsola has failed and no propaganda exercise will make us forget the damage that the Queen of War has caused. The EU needs diplomacy and vision that brings results and not Facebook characters and artificiality.”
