A Romanian man was found on the ground with serious head injuries after he fell off an e-scooter last night in Santa Venera.

Police said that at 1.30 am on Sunday, they were notified of a man lying on the ground on Triq is-Soll, Santa Venera.

The 27-year-old fell off his vehicle and sustained serious injuries.

A medical team was on the scene and took him to Mater Dei.

The cause of the accident is currently unknown.

Police investigations are ongoing.
