Sarah Bajada Apologises After Being Caught Driving With Expired License And Insurance
Sarah Bajada, the partner of PN leader Alex Borg, has issued a public apology after she was caught driving with an expired vehicle license and insurance.
Bajada said that the private company she used to work with until last year always used to take care of renewing her license and insurance, but that the responsibilities were transferred to her after she left the company.
The renewals were due at the end of July 2025, but she said she forgot about this deadline due to the intensity of the PN leadership campaign.
“Yesterday, I had an urgent need to pick up my son Sam, and on my way back I was stopped at a Transport Malta roadblock,” she said.
“It was only then that it was brought to my attention that both my licence and insurance had expired.”
“I sincerely apologise for this. There is no excuse, and I take full responsibility. Like anyone else, I am not perfect, and I should have taken care of this matter in due course.”
“As a citizen, I will follow the necessary process and will settle the matter in due course.”
